Thunder tryouts

I want to write about my hockey tryouts this weekend.  So, I am having hockey tryouts for the team is called Thunder. I have been in that team for one year and of course I like it, but the thing is that it is not like 'one team forever'. I mean team changes every year. It is not going to have the same guys next year. Tryouts  are going to be in Atlanta. I will have practices there for two days. It is four hours away from here.  Actually, the cool thing is that I can drive now, because I got my permit license, so, my mom will not be super tired. I will have u15 and u16 tryouts. It mans that I can make ether u15 or u16 Thunder. Of course I want to play up

Schools cafe

      In America the most popular drinks are sodas and other high-sugar drinks. Every school cafe has these drinks. I do not think that it is right because these drinks are not healthy for people. That is not okay that school has it. What if somebody has allergy or student just is not allowed to drink it because, in other words, it is just bad.

      When I sit at lunch I look on the line and almost every student chooses Coca cola or different unhealthy drinks. Yes, they can choose water, juice or something better, but nobody does. In other countries schools' cafes do not have any bad drinks or food. In dining hall we have pizza almost every day, and that is crazy. You can still choose good food, but not a lot of people do. I think or actually I am pretty sure that is why there is a lot of over weight people in the USA.

Spring Break

My spring break was very good. I had a lot of fun. The most important thing is that I went home. It was my first time when I went back to Russia during the year. I was not supposed to go there because I was supposed to have hockey games, but I didn’t have hockey games because my team lost the playoffs before we had a break. That is why I went to Russia. At home I was happy to see my family and my dog and cats. I still had hockey practices every day with my old team. There is colder than here, and I like it. There is no point to go to Russia for five days that is why I missed one more week of school. Me and my dad had a lot of things to do. We went hunting, driving, and played hockey.

Games in Minnesota

During my last weekend I was in Minnesota because I had a hockey tournament there. I was there five days. I came on Thursday and left on Monday. We had four games. We lost two and we won two. We did not do bad. We played against good teams. After, our games we could watch U16 and U18 games. It is pretty good because I like to watch our older boys and even learn something from them. We also had team dinners. I like it because there is a lot of fun, and it is good to talk with your teammates when you do not see them every day. I also liked Minnesota because it was cold and snowy. On games we also had scouts, and I did good, so, I feel even better. Game weekends are my favorite thing because I play hockey and I also have fun with my team.

Christmas break

During my Christmas break I didn’t go to Russia because I had hockey games and practices. During Christmas days I had three free days, so, I went to Colorado Beaver Creek small city in mountain to snowboarding. It was a fun time with my family. My brother and my parents ski. I also rode on snowmobile. Before we left we met our Colorado friends. Then, when I flew back to Nashville I had practice on the same day. Next day, I had first tournament game. In the tournament we got the second place, because we lost the final game. I spent good time with my family. Of course, I would like to have a longer Christmas break. My birthday is January ninth. So, my family are going to leave after my birthday January tenth. Also, on New Year days, I had games, so, I didn’t celebrate New Year. Mrs. Harris was on one of my games. I hope she liked it. And it also was my first Christmas in my life.

What I Am Thankful For

   I am thankful for a lot of things in my life. I am thankful for my team Thunder, my dad, my best friend, Nashville, all my hockey coaches, my school teachers, my brother, my mother, an ice, and opportunity to play hockey.
   I am the most thankful for are my parents. Because they do anything for what they are able to do. They gave me opportunity to live and play hockey in the U.S.A. i am very happy that i can continue my career in America. He pays for my hockey.He also pays for school. He always wants me to have the hockey equipment, what is very good. I have been having the best gear since I stood on the ice first time. Probably I am the only one goalie who has all professional gear, professional protection, NHL gear, custom gear. And of course it helps me. When I see goalie who has very bad equipment, I feel so sorry for them. Because they can’t buy good one, but sometimes parents don’t want to do it, because they don’t care. That is why I try to sell my pro gear for very cheap price, after I use it. So, people can buy it. Because I think hockey is the most expensive sport. 

   My mother believes in me, in my hockey. She wants me to play and to win, no matter what. She does for me anything, what she can physically do. She understands that hockey is the most important thing in my life. Because, my friends’ moms don’t care about their hockey, they think it is just for fun, but it is not. I love my parents.

   

Fall Break

I had a fall break. On weekends before a fall break i had games in Detroit and we won some games. And when i had games in Detroit my parents came to see my games and me. And after games, i and my parents came to Nashville. My brother came with my parents too. It was good, i had fun with my parents. I had practices and workouts too. I also went to the Predators' game and i am going to go to the Preds' game again today. And they are going to play against Dallas, and my friend's uncle plays in Dallas. So, my friend and i are going to go to the game. Yesterday i went to the very big gym with my dad and with my friend. My friend is like a brother, so, we are always go anywhere together.
